Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to retain and grow a book of business. You will coordinate day-to-day admin, respond to service requests, and manage policy renewals while supporting new business.

The ideal candidate has an active P&C license, strong communication skills, and a track record in insurance brokerage. Hybrid remote/work-from-office arrangements may apply with PT hours in Pacific Time.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active P&C license required; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle customer service requests, policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Conduct client research, prepare submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
