Insurance Office Of America, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager for Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain clients, and support new opportunities. The role requires active P&C licensing, strong customer service, and the ability to coordinate policy administration and renewals.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, with CIC preferred. Remote work is available within certain states, and on-site hybrid may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs
• Active licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational abilities
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities
• Resolve complex issues and ensure accuracy in policy administration and billing
• Handle renewals, submissions, and negotiations for coverages
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms
• Communicate workload status and issues with the account team
• Deliver proactive service and uphold IOA values
