Job summary

Insurance Office of America, Inc. is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, drive retention, and support new business with accurate policy administration and timely service.

You will lead day-to-day activities, resolve complex issues, and collaborate with clients and carriers to meet coverage needs, while maintaining strong communications and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active P&C license required; CIC or equivalent designation preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and support new business.
• Coordinate day‑to‑day admin and customer service activities.
• Resolve complex issues and ensure accurate policy administration.
• Monitor policy expirations and renewals.
• Communicate proactively with clients and carriers.
• Lead and coordinate the account management team’s daily activities.
• Maintain agency management systems and data accuracy.
