Job summary

Insurance Office of America is seeking an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage an assigned book of business, retain accounts, and support new business while coordinating day-to-day admin and customer service.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, a current P&C license (CIC preferred), strong analytical and communication skills, and MS Office proficiency. This hybrid role offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance.
• Active property & casualty licensure; CIC preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organization.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Maintain technical competence and industry expertise.
• Direct daily activities of the account management team.
• Handle policy administration, billing, claims, and coverage analysis.
• Manage policy expirations and renewals.
• Negotiate coverages and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect balances.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
• Ensure timely completion of activities.
