Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks an Account Manager - Commercial Lines to manage a book of business, retain clients, and support new business growth. You will oversee daily administrative tasks, policy administration, billing, claims handling, and coverage analysis while ensuring exceptional client service.

The role requires an active P&C license, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Active P&C license; CIC or equivalent designation preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities, resolving complex issues and ensuring accuracy.
• Maintain policy expirations and renewals; negotiate coverages and present proposals.
• Monitor delinquent accounts and collect outstanding balances; support AR functions.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms for data accuracy.
