Job summary

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, with an active P&C license; CIC or equivalent is a plus. Hybrid work is available within IOA’s policy, and remote work is limited by location.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of account management experience or 5+ years in insurance.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active P&C license; CIC or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business and ensure account retention.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Resolve complex issues with accurate policy administration and billing.
• Renewals: monitor expirations, submissions and proposals.
• Oversee accounts receivable, collect delinquent balances when needed.
• Maintain agency systems and carrier/vendor platforms with data accuracy.
