A hybrid work setup is available with one day in a NY-based office or fully remote for Eastern/Central Time Zone residents. The ideal candidate holds active property & casualty licensing (CIC preferred) and 3-5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, with strong customer-service and analytical

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring account retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Resolve complex issues and ensure no errors or omissions.
• Maintain policy expirations and renewals; monitor delinquent accounts.
• Support renewal submissions, negotiate coverages, and present proposals.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
