Insurance Office of America seeks an Account Manager for Commercial Lines. Hybrid preferred; 1 day in NY offices or fully remote for Eastern/Central Time Zones. You will manage a book of business, ensure retention, and coordinate service and policy administration.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in account management or 5+ years in insurance, with a P&C license (CIC preferred). Strong analytical and customer service skills are required, along with MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of account management experience, or 5+ years in the insurance industry.
• Thorough knowledge of insurance brokerage and client needs.
• Active property & casualty licensing; CIC or equivalent preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service, communication, multitasking, and organization.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned book of business, ensuring retention and supporting new business.
• Coordinate day-to-day administrative and customer service activities.
• Resolve complex issues and ensure accuracy in data and processes.
• Monitor policy expirations, renewals, and submissions.
• Lead the account management team and communicate workload status.
• Maintain agency management systems and carrier/vendor platforms.
