Job summary

Univar Solutions seeks a Virtual Account Representative to manage a sales territory within Performance Materials, Health & Nutrition, or CARE Manufacturing. This fully remote role covers the US and focuses on new business growth while maintaining existing spend.

You will conduct sales calls, monitor buying patterns, maintain a Salesforce pipeline, and leverage market insights to win opportunities. A B2B sales background and HS diploma are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of sales experience in a B2B environment.
• HS Diploma/GED required.
• Food or Nutra chemical ingredient experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with internal teammates.
• Good listening and problem-solving skills; attention to detail and digital literacy including Microsoft Suite and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers through regular sales calls to learn goals, needs and growth opportunities.
• Secure re-orders through regular monitoring of buying patterns and territory management.
• Manage a robust new product opportunity pipeline and update progress in Salesforce.com.
• Uncover pricing intel and buying drivers to win new business.
• Stay updated on market offerings to provide value to customers.
• Identify customer potential and align with service levels and sales channels.
