Job summary

Amcor is recruiting an Account Executive to manage a customer book in the Rigid Packaging Solutions North America group, selling Closures, Bottles and Specialties. You will nurture relationships across levels to accelerate growth and profitability for customers and Amcor.

The role emphasizes developing new business, building a robust pipeline, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver value and drive strategic plans. Remote-based with travel up to 50%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent is required.
• 3–5 years of sales experience in distribution, direct sales, or national accounts.
• Experience in packaging or related field preferred.
• Knowledge of plastics category (injection/blow molding) is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; writing sample may be requested.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business and increase profitability within the region by driving organic growth of existing accounts.
• Develop business beyond current accounts as part of a formalized plan with the Sales Director.
• Execute strategic plans to provide organic growth and build a strong pipeline of opportunities.
• Identify customer needs and differentiate Amcor's products and services to drive opportunities.
• Build collaborative relationships with senior leadership, procurement, engineering, quality, and operations.
• Lead negotiations and influence decisions to protect Amcor interests.
• Drive regional/national/global growth where applicable and travel as needed.
• Maintain robust sales processes and pipeline visibility using company software.
