Job summary

Del Mar College is seeking an Academic Systems Analyst (Level I–III) in the Information Technology department. The role focuses on advanced administration, implementation, and continuous improvement of academic platforms like Coursedog and Canvas LMS, to support student success across college operations.

The position allows remote work within Texas, with possible on‑campus meetings in Corpus Christi. A strong emphasis is on analyzing processes, optimizing workflows, and ensuring cohesive system

Qualifications

• Administration of academic and student success platforms (Coursedog, Civitas, or similar).
• Understanding of higher education business processes (curriculum lifecycle, scheduling, advising).
• Experience in business process analysis and continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of system integrations, APIs, and data workflows.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical and data issues.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects independently.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure Coursedog modules (curriculum, scheduling, events).
• Support Civitas Learning platform for student success initiatives.
• Assist Canvas LMS administration, integrations, and infra coordination.
• Support system configurations, workflows, permissions, and upgrades.
• Analyze processes for efficiency improvements and redesign workflows.
• Collaborate with departments to translate requirements into configurations.
• Provide advanced guidance and user training on systems.
• Work with vendors on troubleshooting and enhancements.
