Job summary

Great Hearts Nova is seeking an Interventionist to provide targeted academic support remotely, collaborating with SPED staff and teachers to identify at-risk students, deliver small-group or one-on-one instruction, and monitor progress.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with 2+ years of intervention experience and comfort with online or blended learning. Flexibility across CST and Arizona time zones is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience providing academic interventions or differentiated instruction for K–12 students.
• Experience in online or blended learning environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted small-group or individual instruction in reading, math, or core subjects.
• Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data and outcomes.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers to align interventions with instruction.
• Administer formative and summative assessments to inform teaching strategies.
• Communicate progress and strategies with families and SPED staff.
