Job summary

Stellar Virtual seeks an experienced Interventionist, Math 6-8 to deliver targeted, data-driven math intervention for grades 6-8 in a fully remote setting. You will partner with teachers and school leaders to identify gaps, monitor progress, and accelerate growth through MTSS.

The role requires strong knowledge of TEKS for grades 6-8, plus experience in virtual instruction and analytics to inform instructional decisions. A Texas-teacher-certified background is preferred; travel is not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of successful classroom teaching experience in secondary mathematics.
• Experience in virtual/online teaching is essential.
• Strong knowledge of TEKS for Mathematics grades 6-8.
• Experience administering, analyzing, and interpreting diagnostic, benchmark, and progress monitoring assessments to drive instructional decisions.
• Ability to design, implement, and adjust individualized and small-group interventions based on student performance data.
• Familiarity with MTSS and RTI frameworks.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in virtual settings.
• Access to reliable high-speed internet connection (min 25 Mbps down, 10 Mbps up).

Responsibilities

• Deliver small-group and individualized mathematics intervention aligned with student needs and TEKS.
• Differentiate instruction for varying skill levels and learning goals.
• Utilize virtual platforms to engage students in a remote learning environment.
• Analyze assessment data to identify intervention needs and adjust plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, coaches, admins, counselors, and support staff.
• Monitor and document student progress and implement instructional adjustments.
• Support CCMR initiatives and MTSS-driven decision-making.
• Pivot to address emerging business priorities as directed by management.
