Job summary

National University is seeking an Academic and Finance Advisor to support students remotely across the United States. You will handle inquiries via calls, emails, texts, and chats, guiding students through academic planning and financial aid requirements.

The role emphasizes proactive student support, problem solving, and collaboration with teams to ensure progress toward graduation. Bachelor’s degree preferred with 1+ year in advising or customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of one year of advising or customer service experience.
• Experience in higher education or student services is preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced, online university environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage student load and daily tasks via Roadrunner System or similar tools.
• Identify and support at-risk students and connect them to resources.
• Monitor degree plans, course schedules, and SAP compliance.
• Advise students on financial aid requirements and policy changes.
• Track balances and assist with collections to maintain receivables.
• Participate in meetings and team projects; maintain professional communications.
• Maintain attendance and support escalated students.
