Job summary

SMX is seeking a Mid Level S/4HANA SAP ABAP Developer to support an SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation for a large government contract. The role is remote supporting a Washington, DC based customer and requires a Public Trust clearance.

As a Mid-Level Developer, you will actively participate in every stage of the application lifecycle, from design to deployment, translate requirements into technical design specifications, and develop ABAP solutions.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years SAP ABAP development for mid-level role.
• Experience with S/4HANA and SAP Fiori.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DHS Public Trust clearance.
• Hands-on experience integrating backend SAP with non-SAP applications.
• Strong debugging and performance tuning of ABAP programs.

Responsibilities

• Translate user requirements into technical design specifications and develop ABAP solutions.
• Lead or mentor other developers, promote maintainable development practices, and conduct code reviews.
