Job summary

BrightSpring Health Services Corporation seeks a Behavior Clinician to join our team in Peoria, IL. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a human-services field and 1,500 hours of ABA experience verified by a BCBA or licensed psychologist.

Responsibilities include assessments, coordinating visits, and ensuring the Behavior Intervention Plan is properly implemented. The position offers potential for remote work when not in session and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a human-services-related field.
• 1,500 hours of ABA-related experience verified by a BCBA or Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
• Illinois requires BCBA/BCaBA or a minimum of 1,500 hours supervised by a BCBA or Licensed Psychologist.
• Experience with individuals with developmental disabilities or behaviorally challenged populations.

Responsibilities

• Conducts ongoing assessments to meet the needs of patients served.
• Communicates between supervisors, direct care staff, family members, guardians, and collateral individuals regarding progress.
• Provides a monthly schedule to supervisors of appointments, home visits, and observations.
• Coordinates home, work and/or community-based visits to meet observation requirements and data analysis.
• Ensures the Behavior Intervention Plan is implemented effectively and properly.
• Participates in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings and other pertinent meetings.
• Completes monthly and/or quarterly progress notes.
• Maintains strong clinical records for easy access to information.
