Job summary

ERM seeks a Visual Simulations Technician to join our Visual Services team. You will develop technically defensible 3D visualizations, VR experiences, and interactive environments supporting regulatory, licensing, and public outreach efforts across energy, infrastructure, and extractive sectors.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and advance ERM's visualization capabilities with cutting-edge tools such as 3D Studio Max, V-Ray, Unreal/Unity, and other Adobe products.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of professional experience in related AEC field with 3D visualizations, modeling and simulations.
• Proficiency with 3ds Max (modeling, texturing, lighting, basic animation).
• Experience with Chaos V-Ray real‑time GPU rendering and with Adobe Photoshop/InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technically defensible 3D models, renderings, photomontages, visual simulations, and animations for regulatory, licensing, and public outreach across various projects.
• Use hardware/software to develop innovative approaches for communicating civil and infrastructure designs to public audiences.
• Maintain high technical/visual quality and ensure deliverables meet client and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams and visualization specialists from concept to final delivery.
