Job summary

ERM is seeking a Visual Simulations Technician to support a growing Visual Services team in Houston. You will develop technically defensible 3D visualizations, VR experiences and interactive environments for clients across energy and infrastructure sectors, contributing to regulatory and public outreach efforts.

Ideal candidates will have 3-4 years in an AEC-related field, proficiency with Autodesk 3D Studio Max, Chaos V-Ray, and Adobe Photoshop/InDesign, and a demonstrated ability to meet tight

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of professional experience in a related AEC field.
• Proficient with 3D modeling, texturing, lighting and basic animation.
• Strong portfolio of prior 3D visualization work.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to technically defensible 3D models, renderings, photomontages, visual simulations and animations for regulatory, licensing and public outreach.
• Develop innovative 3D visual communication approaches for complex civil and infrastructure projects.
• Maintain high technical/visual quality and ensure deliverables meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with project teams and visualization colleagues from concept through final delivery.
