Job summary

ERM is seeking a Visual Simulations Technician to join our Visual Services team to develop 3D visualizations, VR experiences and interactive environments for regulatory and public outreach across energy and infrastructure sectors.

The role requires 3–4 years in AEC, strong skills in 3D Studio Max and V-Ray, and proficiency with Photoshop and InDesign. A portfolio is expected; sponsorship is not available. Competitive benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

3–4+ years of professional experience in a related AEC field with 3D visualizations, modeling and simulations.
Proficiency with Autodesk 3D Studio Max (modeling, texturing, lighting, basic animation).
Experience with Chaos V-Ray, including real-time GPU rendering.
Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.
Ability to work under tight deadlines, independently and in teams.
Portfolio or accessible samples of previous visualization work.
Position not eligible for immigration sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Prepare technically defensible 3D models, renderings, photomontages and animations for regulatory, licensing and public outreach.
Use cutting-edge hardware/software to communicate complex civil and infrastructure designs to public audiences.
Maintain high technical and visual quality; meet client expectations and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with project teams and visualization specialists from concept to delivery.
