Pearl Talent is helping a Canadian energy operations company find an Electricity Power Dispatcher to run daily operational planning and real-time grid coordination for a 24/7 center. The role is remote, covering the overnight Alberta window with secure VPN access.

You will submit plans, monitor compliance, and coordinate with on-site operators and system operators, ensuring zero missed deadlines and prompt responses.

Qualifications

• 2+ years currently working as a Power Dispatcher, System Operator, Grid Operator, or Control Center Operator in the Philippine utility or energy sector
• Hands-on Independent System Operator (ISO) coordination, including building and submitting daily operational plans or asset offers within market deadlines
• Energy trading or generation asset dispatch experience covering market offers, scheduling, or grid compliance
• 24/7 operations center experience with documented response-time requirements under five minutes
• External-facing operational communication with on-site operators, system operators, or regulatory bodies via phone and web-based portals
• Availability for 12.5-hour shifts covering 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM Mountain Time on a seven-day rotation including holidays, with wired internet plus a documented backup connection
• C1+ English (CEFR) for real-time phone coordination with external operators and system operators

Responsibilities

• Morning Operations Planning: build and submit the daily plan between 6:30 AM and 10:00 AM Alberta time for current and next-day activity.
• Submit asset offers to the ISO ahead of market deadlines and confirm plan acceptance before monitoring.
• Real-Time Monitoring: track portals, respond to operator messages within two minutes, and ensure all actions are completed with confirmations.
• Stakeholder Communication: act as hub between on-site operators, system operators and internal teams; perform handovers and participate in cross-team sessions.
