Job summary

Integrated Power USA, a TotalEnergies-backed venture, seeks a senior leader to design, build, and operate a new remote-operations control center. You’ll lead 24/7 dispatch of wind, solar, BESS, and gas assets, ensuring regulatory compliance and high reliability.

You will oversee SCADA/EMS platforms, drive cybersecurity measures, and coordinate with trading desks and field teams to achieve KPIs while fostering a culture of safety and accountability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED with military or power-plant leadership experience, or a technical Bachelor’s degree.
• 7+ years in power generation operations, utilities, or control center environments, incl. 3+ years in leadership.
• Deep knowledge of ERCOT requirements, market structures, and protocols.
• Direct experience monitoring or operating utility-scale wind/solar assets.
• Strong understanding of high-voltage substation maintenance and SCADA infrastructure.
• Experience with NERC reliability standards and CIP compliance.
• Hands-on in control room startups, SCADA migrations, or large-scale fleet integrations.

Responsibilities

• Direct 24/7/365 remote operations center, enforcing accountability and achieving KPIs.
• Define design & buildout, hardware layout, and cybersecurity posture for the control room.
• Oversee dispatch instructions, ancillary services, curtailments, and real-time directives.
• Coordinate with trading/scheduling desks for optimal dispatch while maintaining separation of duties.
• Coordinate with Field Ops for switching, maintenance, and LOTO procedures.
• Develop SOPs for emergencies, weather events, and outages.
• Establish KPIs and post-event analysis to improve performance.
