Contact Community Services is seeking a part-time 211 Community Connector to assist callers with social services and resources in New York. The role requires empathy, strong communication, and the ability to manage high call volumes while maintaining confidentiality.

Training and agency guidelines will guide assessments and referrals. The position is hybrid, with a 15-hour weekly schedule, and a base hourly rate of $20.50 with shift differentials for weekend and overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed.
• Document all interactions accurately in the system.
• Meet call center performance metrics and confidentiality standards.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions.
