• High school diploma required; Associates in Human Services or related field strongly preferred.
• Must reside in New York State and be able to work a 15 hour/week schedule.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and crisis-response skills are essential.

Responsabilités

• Answer and place calls on assigned lines with compassion and in accordance with training.
• Assess callers' needs and provide information and referrals to basic needs and services.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available community resources.
• Complete assessments and determine eligibility for emergency shelter placements per protocol.
• Provide crisis intervention support and connect callers to safety net programs.
• Document interactions accurately and timely in the system.
• Meet call-center performance metrics and maintain confidentiality.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
