Job summary

Sun Design Remodeling Specialists is seeking a Sales & Preconstruction Coordinator to support our Project Consultants and project teams from design development through contract signing and handoff to Production. You will connect Sales, Design, Estimating and Production—gathering project costs, tracking budgets, coordinating pricing and helping prepare complete contracts to reflect approved scope.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.
• Comfort with budgets and project cost information.
• Clear and professional written and verbal communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and interruptions.
• Experience with BuilderTrend or similar construction software.
• Experience in remodeling, construction, design-build, preconstruction, estimating support or project coordination preferred.
• Ability to travel locally to our office, client homes, job sites and company events.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Consultants throughout the design and preconstruction process.
• Prepare and maintain project budget-tracking information.
• Coordinate trade proposals, vendor quotes, internal labor and material costs, and special-order pricing.
• Gather approved costs and organize them into project estimates.
• Track outstanding pricing, scope decisions, assumptions, allowances and client options.
• Prepare scopes of work, contracts and supporting documentation.
• Help ensure estimates and contracts reflect the approved project scope.
• Utilize complete and current project information from BuilderTrend.
• Participate in project meetings, Trades Walks, Estimate Reviews and Production handoffs.
• Coordinate assigned non-routine change orders.
• Communicate with clients, trade partners and internal team members throughout the process.
• Help ensure Production receives a complete and organized project package.
