Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remodel Construction Coordinator to join our team on a contracted basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all phases of remodel construction projects, including pre-construction, construction, and post-construction activities. This role requires excellent coordination skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities
Pre-Construction
  • Facilitate pre-construction meetings to align all parties with project goals and expectations (includes facilities/design surveys of existing conditions)
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other consultants to ensure project plans are accurate and complete. Provide feedback to improve where needed.
  • Assist in the review/development of project schedules and deliveries of own furnished fixtures and equipment.
  • Collaborate with construction partners and operations on site logistics for storage containers, dumpsters, parking, access, etc.
  • Participate/attend Project Kick-off Meetings
Construction
  • Representative for all activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Coordinate with onsite teams and internal partners to ensure timely delivery fixtures, equipment and tracker item response/status
  • Perform weekly site visits to monitor project status, proper execution on program deliverables, addressing any issues or delays promptly
  • Participate in weekly progress meetings with all stakeholders
  • Monitor/Manage accurate and up-to-date project documentation by our construction partners, including change orders, RFIs, daily reports, incident reports and weekly photo requirements
  • Provide weekly reporting to Project Manager
Post-Construction
  • Coordinate final inspections and ensure all punch list items are completed to the satisfaction of stakeholders.
  • Facilitate project closeout activities, including the collection of warranties, as-built drawings, and other required documentation.
  • Prepare and present final project reports, including lessons learned and recommendations for program improvement opportunities
  • Ensure a smooth handover of completed projects to the Operations team.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in construction coordination or project management, preferably in remodel projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and best practices.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
