House Doctors is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a remodel-focused operation in the St. Louis area. You will own the full P&L, drive revenue and margins, price estimates, and manage crews to deliver profitable renovations.

The role requires hands-on residential construction experience, strong budgeting skills, and a track record of leadership with subcontractors. Expect year-round local work in St. Charles and surrounding counties.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on residential construction or remodeling experience.
• 3+ years running operations with P&L or budget responsibility in remodeling.
• Strong financial skills: costing, budgeting, margin analysis, pricing.
• Proven leader of crews and subcontractors with accountability standards.
• Broad trade knowledge across interior and exterior work.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue, job costs, margins and customer satisfaction; report to owner.
• Hold full P&L accountability and manage annual operating budget.
• Price and approve estimates and change orders to protect margin.
• Negotiate pricing with suppliers; control waste and callbacks.
• Track KPIs and implement profit-improving system changes.
• Hire, train and manage field crews; ensure quality and safety standards.
• Run multiple mid to large projects from contract to walkthrough.
