This role extends the employee’s regular responsibilities and supports the supervisor with day-to-day leadership tasks. The position emphasizes enforcing rules, coaching teammates, training new staff, and contributing to performance evaluations and task assignments within the same job category.

Responsibilities

• Enforce work rules and procedures as directed by the supervisor.
• Assist in developing or revising work rules and procedures.
• Trains new and current employees within the same job category.
• Evaluates day-to-day work performance, providing feedback, coaching, and recognition.
• May provide input on formal performance evaluations for employees under their lead direction.
• May assign job tasks and responsibilities to employees within the job category.
