Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus three years of progressively responsible construction experience, preferably residential.
• Minimum of three years related experience as a Lead in construction.
• Proficient in MS Office, email, calendars, and internet research.

Responsibilities

• Enforce work rules and procedures as directed by the supervisor.
• Assist in developing or revising work rules and procedures.
• Train new and current employees within the same job category.
• Evaluate day-to-day work performance, providing feedback, coaching, and recognition;
• Provide input on formal performance evaluations for employees under their lead direction.
• Assign job tasks and responsibilities to employees within the job category.
• Adjust daily work schedules to meet departmental needs.
• Collaborate with teammates to ensure exceptional customer service and high customer satisfaction.
• Provide input on development plans and disciplinary actions; execute actions under supervisor guidance.
• Maintain product knowledge across finishes, fixtures, and appliances.
• Assist in scheduling, tracking vendors/subcontractors for multiple projects.
• Understand residential contracts and terms, including changes.
