FIS seeks a Remittance Processing Associate Specialist in California to support accurate and timely processing of customer payments and exceptions. You will apply advanced remittance processing knowledge, resolve complex items, and serve as a resource to colleagues to maintain efficient workflows.

The role requires flexibility in scheduling (5 days with 2 days off, including weekends) and a focus on high-volume processing with accuracy. Benefits and competitive compensation are offered.

Formación

• Advanced knowledge of remittance processing practices, procedures and workflows.
• Strong research, analysis and resolution of payment processing exceptions.
• Ability to identify errors in transaction calculations, balances and processing output.
• Strong organizational skills to handle high-volume work.

Responsabilidades

• Perform hands-on preparation of customer payments and remittance items for processing.
• Sort, organize and sequence payment work for timely processing.
• Operate remittance processing equipment and perform routine setup/maintenance.
• Process exception items requiring manual review, research or adjustment.
• Review payment information and processing output to identify errors or discrepancies.
• Research and adjust to resolve payment processing issues.
• Prepare outgoing collection items and other payment materials for processing.
• Maintain remittance processing supplies and organize work materials for daily production.
• Handle high-volume workloads while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.
• Provide guidance to less experienced associates on procedures and complex items.
