• Sort, organize and sequence payment work for timely processing.
• Operate remittance processing equipment and perform routine setup and maintenance.
• Process exception items requiring manual review, research or adjustment.
• Review payment information to identify errors or discrepancies.
• Research and resolve payment processing issues.
• Prepare outgoing collection items and physical payment materials.
• Maintain remittance processing supplies and organize work materials.
• Handle high-volume workloads while maintaining accuracy and deadlines.
• Guide less experienced associates on procedures and complex items.
