Job summary

FIS is seeking a detail‑oriented candidate to support remittance processing operations onsite. You will prepare customer payments, manage setup and maintenance of the remittance processor, perform research and adjustments, and handle exception items.

The role requires strong communication and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The position is full-time, on-site, with a schedule of Monday–Saturday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM and time off on Wednesday and Sunday.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of remittance processing procedures and client specifications.
• Proficient written and verbal communication with team members.
• Ability to assemble, organize and sequence work; identify errors in calculations and balances.

Responsibilities

• Prepares customer payments for processing.
• Coordinates set-up and maintenance for remittance processor and related equipment.
• Performs research and adjustment activities.
• Processes exception items.
• Maintains inventory of remittance processing supplies.
• Prepares outgoing collection notices for negotiable instruments.
• Other related duties as needed.
