Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1 year of experience in accounts receivables or remittance processing.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure remittance documents are correct.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Effectively organized in a fast-paced environment with prioritization.
• Problem solving ability to troubleshoot issues in role.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, banking regulations and compliance.
• Confidentiality and data security protocols must be followed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, financial software and related tools.
• Basic knowledge of BSA, AML, HIPAA, and PCI compliance.
• Familiarity with remittance operations and equipment such as MPE extractors and scanners.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and open mail for remittance accounts.
• Process deposits according to customer specifications and balance transactions.
• Enter data for analysis and billing, ensure image quality for checks.
• Review captured data and correct discrepancies to balance at deposit level.
• Produce reports detailing payment information per customer specs.
• Distribute completed work to customers following courier instructions.
