Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and at least 1 year experience in accounts receivables or remittance processing operations.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling remittance documents.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Organizational skills to prioritize and manage workload in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles and banking compliance.
• Commitment to confidentiality and data security.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial software systems.
• Familiarity with remittance equipment and processing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Ensure mail-in deposits are received and staged for pre-processing as scheduled.
• Receive, sort, and open payment envelopes manually or with automated equipment.
• Use imaging equipment to scan coupons and checks; ensure image quality meets standards.
• Enter and correct data from imaging to balance remittance coupons and check amounts.
• Produce reports detailing payment information per customer specifications.
• Deliver completed work to customers following courier instructions; adhere to controls for information delivery.
