Job summary

GrayMar Environmental Services, LLC seeks a Remediation Heavy Equipment Operator to safely operate heavy machinery on environmental service projects nationwide. This on-call role supports multiple field locations with significant travel and local work to backfill ongoing operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in heavy equipment operation, a valid driver's license, and OSHA HAZWOPER certification preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 5 years of heavy equipment operation and maintenance experience.
• 5 years operating excavators, bulldozers, loaders and backhoes.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment proficiently following safety policies.
• Operate equipment including forklifts, excavators, bulldozers, loaders, and backhoes.
• Follow SOPs for operating and maintaining company vehicles.
• Work with hazardous and non-hazardous soils with proper PPE.
• Grease and maintain equipment.
• Load and unload heavy equipment on trailers.
• Participate in a drug-free workplace with random drug testing.
