Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking Engineering Co-Op students for its Remanufacturing division in Corinth, MS or Booneville, MS. You will collaborate with engineering staff to collect data, verify documentation, and develop standard work.

You’ll perform capacity analyses, support quality improvements, and create CAD drawings for tooling. Relocation is not offered; housing is paid. Eligibility requires full-time enrollment in an engineering program, 2.8+ GPA, and a 40-hour work week commitment.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time at a 4-year accredited college/university.
• Pursuing a degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Industrial & Systems, Mechanical, or Industrial Technology.
• Able to work 40 hours per week.
• GPA 2.8 minimum.

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering staff by collecting data for capital and salvage projects.
• Verify accuracy of existing docs released to operations including line rates and procedures.
• Create Standard Work for various areas within Operations.
• Conduct capacity analysis studies on production areas and equipment.
• Support Continuous Product Improvement with quality and warranty data analysis.
• Create AutoCAD drawings of production tooling.
• Perform routine duties like process waste elimination and safety walks.
