Caterpillar Remanufacturing in Corinth/Booneville, MS is seeking an Engineering Co-Op for Spring/Summer rotations. You will work with engineers to collect data for projects and help prepare accurate documentation for operations. The role includes creating standard work, performing capacity analysis, and supporting process improvements.

Proficiency with AutoCAD and lean manufacturing basics is valuable. The position runs through multiple rotations with housing provided and pre-employment

Qualifications

• Enrolled full time at a 4-year accredited university/college.
• Pursuing a degree in one of the listed engineering programs.
• GPA 2.8 minimum required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering staff to collect data for projects.
• Assist with documentation accuracy for operations and line procedures.
• Create Standard Work for various areas within Operations.
• Perform capacity analysis on production areas and equipment.
• Support Continuous Product Improvement with data analysis.
• Create AutoCAD drawings of production tooling.
• Participate in process waste elimination and safety walks.
• Utilize 3-D printed prototypes or gauges and fixtures.
