Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking Engineering Co-Op participants for our Remanufacturing divisions in Corinth, MS or Booneville, MS. You will work with engineering staff, collect data for projects, and help create standard work and tooling drawings.

You must be enrolled full-time in a relevant engineering program and able to work 40 hours per week with a minimum GPA of 2.8. This is a rotational, temporary program with housing paid for by the employer where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full time at a 4-year accredited college/university.
• Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Technology.
• Applicant must be able to work 40 hours per week.
• GPA requirements: cumulative 2.8 minimum GPA.

Responsibilities

• Co-op duties include collecting data for capital and salvage projects.
• Ensure accuracy of documentation released to operations (line rates & procedures).
• Create Standard Work for various areas within Operations.
• Perform capacity analysis on production areas and equipment.
• Assist Continuous Product Improvement with quality data analysis.
• Create AutoCAD drawings of production tooling.
• Execute routine tasks like waste elimination and safety walks.
