Job summary

Cumming Group in Monterey Park, CA is seeking a Relocation Project Manager to lead FF&E programming, budgeting, procurement coordination, and move management for education sector projects.

You will collaborate with A/E teams, BUGs, and college stakeholders, create FF&E budgets, review drawings, schedule installations, and oversee swings space moves through close-out to ensure functional occupancy.

Qualifications

• Read architectural and furniture drawings.
• Knowledge of FF&E specifications and procurement.
• Ability to work at multiple site locations (district colleges).
• Strong written and oral communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform FF&E selection, budgeting, procurement coordination and move management for FF&E across projects.
• Coordinate with Procurement for best-value or low bid FF&E purchases.
• Collaborate with Project Director, A/E team and BUGs to define scope, budget and schedule.
• Develop FF&E budgets and validate at key milestones.
• Attend weekly project meetings with project team to ensure accurate FF&E specs and install plans.
• Plan swing space moves, coordinate IT equipment, and ensure custody of all FF&E assets.

Education

4-year college degree in Architecture / Interior Architecture / Interior Design / Construction / Project Management / Planning / Facilities Management or related field
