Job summary

Eaton’s South Milwaukee, WI facility seeks a Plant Supplier Development Manager to partner with the supplier development team on improving supplier performance, capability, capacity, risk management, and supply continuity across Eaton's strategic supply base, focused on critical suppliers for South Milwaukee operations. Relocation is offered.

This role works with Procurement, Planning, Operations, Engineering, and Supplier Quality to drive readiness, delivery, resiliency, and long-term supplier

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, Business, or related field is required.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in Supplier Development, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, or Operational Excellence is required.
• Relocation benefits are being offered for this position. Candidates within 50 miles of South Milwaukee, WI will be considered.
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities

• Own supplier performance across on-time delivery, responsiveness, capacity readiness, productivity, risk management, and supply continuity.
• Lead supplier business reviews, scorecards, KPI reviews, and performance action plans.
• Develop strategic supplier roadmaps aligned to growth, sourcing, and manufacturing objectives.
• Conduct supplier capacity assessments, readiness reviews, and scalability evaluations.
• Lead supplier recovery efforts for constrained or underperforming suppliers.
• Monitor supplier investment, expansion, and operational capability plans.
