Job summary

Pratum Companies seeks a Multi-Family Housing Apartment Relocation Specialist to plan, coordinate, and execute resident relocations for renovations and redevelopment initiatives. Serve as primary resident contact, ensuring policy compliance and fair housing adherence while delivering strong customer service.

Responsibilities include coordinating moves, inspections, paperwork, and budgets, while collaborating with property managers, leasing staff, and contractors.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree preferred; equivalent work experience may be substituted.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in multifamily property management, resident services, relocation coordination, housing programs, or a related field.
• Knowledge of multifamily housing operations and resident relations.
• Understanding of Fair Housing laws and applicable landlord-tenant regulations.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (such as Yardi or similar systems).
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation may be required.
• Experience coordinating resident relocation projects during occupied renovations or redevelopment.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Experience working with affordable housing, LIHTC, HUD, or public housing programs is a plus.
• Project management or relocation coordination experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate relocation activities for renovations and redevelopment projects.
• Meet residents to explain relocation process, timelines, and eligibility.
• Document unit conditions and conduct pre/post-move inspections.
• Schedule moves and coordinate with vendors and staff.
• Assist residents with relocation paperwork and documentation.
• Maintain resident files, logs, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with housing regulations and Fair Housing.
