Job summary

Lesaffre Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Relief General Services Operator to load out crumbled, block, or nutritional yeast and support plant operations. This role requires rotating shifts and adaptability to cover other operators as needed.

The ideal candidate maintains safety-first practices, operates forklifts and cleaning equipment, and assists multiple departments while keeping the facility clean and organized in a busy production environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate forklift and cleaning equipment.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Load out crumbled, block, or nutritional yeast trucks.
• Supply plant departments with materials and maintain cleanliness.
• Unload trucks or rail cars and complete loading paperwork.
• Maintain warehouse organization and inventory control.
• Cross-train into other General Services duties as needed.
• Operate forklifts and cleaning equipment safely in a production environment.
