Job summary

Trinity Health in Michigan is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive services to patients. You will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, cognition, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with the care team.

Responsibilities include establishing goals, writing plans, documenting care, and educating families. Requires ASHA-credentialed or eligible SLP with Michigan licensure and BLS.

Qualifications

• Masters in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program.
• Valid Michigan SLP license or eligibility prior to hire date.
• CCC in Speech-Language Pathology or CFY provisional status required.
• ASHA Certification or eligibility required; BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, voice, cognition, feeding and swallowing.
• Create patient-centered treatment goals and written treatment plans.
• Document evaluations and treatments per standards and ethics.
• Educate patients and families on results, plan of care and home exercises.
• Provide culturally responsive care with interpreters when needed.

ASHA-credentialed
