Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have completed machine operator training on all equipment.
• Forklift certification (Lassonde) and ability to operate warehouse equipment.
• Strong math skills (add/subtract/multiply/divide) and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to run whalon, filler, labeler, case packer, and line driver.
• Ability to complete quality checks.

Responsibilities

• Coverage to run filler, labeler, case packer, and line driver in absence of standard operators.
• Complete quality checks.
• Know the purpose and operation of safety devices and interlocks.
• Start and stop machinery correctly.
• Operate machine controls: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic.
• Perform product cuts and use Marsh coder and Videojet.
• Keep work area clean and organized; manage waste and debris.
• Calibrate and reset equipment; clear jams and resets.
• Operate electric pallet jack and maintain forklift safety.
• Assist maintenance in size changeovers and documentation.
