Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc. is hiring a Sanitation I for the 3rd shift at our Seabrook, NJ location. This full-time role focuses on sanitation, food safety, and GMP-compliant procedures to maintain a safe, efficient plant environment.

The starting hourly rate is $21.67/hr with a 3rd shift differential of $0.45/hr. Medical insurance is provided through Local Union 152. Candidates must complete forklift certification and meet PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Must successfully complete and maintain the Lassonde Pappas Forklift Certification.
• Ability to Read and Write
• Work in a safe manner following all PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Performs daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation tasks (Master Cleaning Schedule).
• Follow all sanitation safety and food safety guidelines.
• Support Production CIPs.
• Complete all associated documents related to task per facility document requirements.
• Work with chemicals to complete cleaning.
• Operate PIT equipment.
• Operate Cleaning equipment.
• Taste test products as needed, up to a couple of ounces per test.
