Job summary

The Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc. facility in Seabrook, NJ seeks a Line Mechanic to repair and maintain plant machinery. The role includes preventive maintenance, project work, and production support with a starting hourly rate of $32.87, plus $0.35/hr for 2nd shift and $0.45/hr for 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in Manufacturing or production environment.
• 5 years of maintenance experience required.
• Welding proficient – Tig and Arc.
• Cutting torch and plasma cutter experience.
• Operate forklift, man lift, pressure washer, and basic power tools.
• Basic math abilities for calculations.
• Professional, courteous communication; teamwork under pressure.
• High school diploma or equivalent; HazCom and LOTO training.

Responsibilities

• Safely repair and maintain machinery; perform preventive maintenance.
• Document deficiencies and PM paperwork accurately.
• Improve production results through PM and small projects.
• Work on equipment incl. depalletizer, fillers, conveyors, pumps, and motors.
• Troubleshoot motor wiring, switches, fuses, and electrical issues.
• Capable of working with 110V–480V circuits; perform welding tasks.
• Adhere to safety procedures and PPE requirements.
