Job summary

Lassonde Pappas & Co., Inc in Seabrook, NJ is seeking a Relief Operator to support the Production Supervisor. You will proficiently operate all line equipment at a grade 8 level in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate quality checks and safe startup/shutdown of machinery.

Starting wage is $26.90 per hour, with 2nd shift differential of $0.35 and 3rd shift $0.45. Medical insurance is provided through Local Union 152.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have completed machine operator training on all equipment.
• Forklift certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Cover to run filler, labeler, case packer, and line driver when needed.
• Complete quality checks and ensure proper operation of safety devices.
• Start/stop machinery and operate all line controls (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic).
• Enter changes into Marsh coder and Videojet, maintain clean work area.
• Clear jams, operate electric pallet jack, and assist maintenance during changes.
• Document properly and perform first-piece inspections, coordinate with operators.
