Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy in Michigan is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our team. You will fill prescriptions accurately, maintain positive relationships with patients and staff, and ensure compliance with company policies.

In this role you will mentor pharmacy technicians, educate patients, and help drive patient care initiatives while maintaining high standards of service and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system, policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements in the operating state.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and procedures.
• In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, manage pharmacy operations.
