Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist for its Michigan pharmacies. The role focuses on safe prescription filling, patient counseling, and maintaining strong patient relationships.

You will mentor technicians and ensure regulatory compliance while actively supporting Meijer Pharmacy’s growth and patient care objectives. The position requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, active licensure in the state, and immunization certification.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist with BS or PharmD and current state license.
• Immunization certification is required.
• Retail/Community pharmacy experience preferred.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions accurately and safely.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Mentor pharmacy technicians to improve performance and patient care.
• Educate patients about medications and health topics.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer policies and regulations.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
• Provide clinical services such as immunizations where allowed.
