Job summary

Meijer Inc. is hiring a Pharmacist in Ohio to support patient care and education within our pharmacy. The role focuses on safe, accurate dispensing, strong patient relationships and leadership in day-to-day pharmacy operations.

You will mentor pharmacy technicians, ensure compliance with policies and laws, and participate in clinical services including immunizations. A PharmD or BS in Pharmacy and active state licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist must hold a Bachelor of Science or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana).
• CPR certification.
• Retail/Community practice experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
• Comply with Meijer policies, procedures and state/federal laws.
• Communicate effectively and act as agent of change.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
• Perform and oversee clinical services including immunizations.
