Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist to fill prescriptions accurately and build strong patient relationships within a Meijer Pharmacy. You will mentor technicians, ensure compliance with state and federal laws, and contribute to expanding the pharmacy's clinical services, including immunizations.

The role requires a PharmD or BS in Pharmacy, current licensure, and a strong understanding of pharmacy systems. Experience in retail/community practice is preferred and a patient-centered approach is

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree or Doctorate of Pharmacy.
• Registered and licensed in the state of practice.
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana)
• Retail/Community Practice.
• Working knowledge of pharmacy system and policies and state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Maintain positive relationships with patients, team, and leadership.
• Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
• Motivate team members to perform at their highest level.
• Ensure compliance with Meijer Policies, procedures, and state/federal laws.
• Communicate effectively and act as agent of change.
• Oversee pharmacy operations in the absence of the pharmacist in charge.
• Provide clinical services where allowed (e.g., immunizations).
• Other duties as assigned.
